Consultancy in establishing a business

Foreigners, who want to establish a business in Poland are obliged to fulfill various formalities. This is connected with the need to obtain entries in appropriate registers, to submit applications in numerous offices, often to obtain licences, permits or concessions. The procedures are complicated and due to the lack of international regulations on the subject, it is very difficult for foreigners to fullfill them on their own.

In order to make it easier for foreign investors to establish a business in Poland, we provide the following services:

• we prepare establishment acts;
• we prepare registration documents for the National Court Register;
• we register the company at the Central Bureau of Statistics;
• we register the company at the tax office and apply for its tax identification number;
• we register the company regarding VAT and in-EU transactions;
• on behalf of foreign investors, we take steps to obtain a concession or a licence, if required by law.

Thanks to our close cooperation with notary’s offices, court translators as well as lawyer’s office, we are able to limit the proceedings to a minimum during which the presence of foreign investors or their representatives is required. If foreign investors cannot stay in Poland for a longer period of time, we organise the meetings so that all the formalities are completed within 2-3 days.

We also offer assistance and advice to foreign investors on the folowing:

• choosing location for offices, production plants, etc of the business to be opened in Poland, as well as the assessment of value of property and rent;
• recruitment of appropriate employees: who to employ, how, for how much;
• selection of business partners in Poland.

It takes approximately six weeks from establishing a new business (signing the notarial act) to complete the registration procedures. This is why we offer purchase of newly-established limited liability companies which have not begun their operation yet, but have already been registered.
